In this regard in 1874, the arrival of the steam ships on the beautiful lake made the local ports and developed the railways for the use to take away the goods to the ship and the commercial areas. No doubt the farmers worked hard and the result was the prosperity for the town. In 1906 a lot of changing occurred in the sense of new development that’s why the first newspapers were launched and library was also established. The early 20th century, the town was considered the garden of Canada. The very first peaches grown and cultivated and the result of the production give the strength and financially power. However the farmer culture passed through the generation, during the first war 300 volunteered was in the duty of Canadian force. During the Second World War the electricity was produced by Niagara Falls and new technologies were invented day by day. Oakville, it is a town which is fully developed and schools, new buildings, parks, railways, airports make the town extra ordinary advanced. As we gone to the economically it is very strong its population is 165,613 and it is in the north of the Burling Town.

Markham, this town is established with new technologies and the new constructions also. It is in the main community of the relevant town, as compare to the other town it is totally different from others. It is also very well known for its significance, its population is 261,573 and it is 46 miles from the town.

St. Catharines, the town population is 131,989 and it also has many schools, houses and parks as well. It is in the east of Burlington Town and 30 miles from Burlington town.

Every town have different demographics that differentiate the area from the others. According
to the 2006, Burlington population was 164,415, males were 48 % and females were 52%. The population is basically identified to the average of the persons of any town or nation. Before the events starts there are lot of preparations have to be done and the people of the specific town wait a lot for the fun and excitement. Bingo is the name of the event that held on every year, lot of activities like fashion shows, dancing, stage performances and musical concerts have to be played, these activities are sponsor and funded by Rotary Club. Second is the name of Kids fest event, as the name show that is the family event, it held in schools and parks and it also provide lot of fun and excitement for the children and their families also. Rotary Club plays an extravaganza role not to represent the culture but also raised the funds and creates the awareness of breast cancer. In night programs, Giggles and Grub club is recognized for the night comedies, parties, dinners, musical concerts and dancing programs, it create a different atmosphere and the whole night fun has to be begun. Rotary Music Festival, this is an opportunity for music lover to avail the chance of the event, different kind of music has to be held and the musicians play outstanding music and these events shows the characters, logical thinking and discipline of their town.

EDUCATION:

Education institutes are very necessary for all the development of countries or cities. These are the base of any development or progress, as well Burlington has a lot of schools and colleges and all are going very well. Burlington public elementary and secondary school is part of the Halton District School. There are almost 28 public elementary schools and some 13 Roman Catholic elementary schools in Burlington. In public level, Alexander Public School, Bruce T Lindley Public School, Central Public School, Clarksdale Public School, Orchard Park Public School, Meadows Public School, Tom Thomson Public School are very famous in this field.
