Richmond Hill is the city that is situated in Southern Ontario Canada. It is a big city and in 2006 the population is round about 16, 2704. HISTORY:

Gormley, Dollar, Lang staff, Carville, Head fold, Bond Lake, Lake Wilcox, and Richvale are the communities involved in the town. The town was rural in 1971 and the streets roads were in bad condition. Almost all roads were with dirt, no proper sewerages and no street lights. The first construction was built in 1971 youngster through Richmond Hill expanded from two lanes to four. The development of the town increased with the passage of time. The plan was approved in 1982; the rose business left Richmond Hill in 1982 with the closure of H.J mill’s florists. In 1980 Mill had died and left the company for his sons but unfortunately due to some economical and lot of increasing taxed made the Mill in loss. In 1990, Richmond Mill Town increased its population and also be civilized. There were lot of schools, buildings, commercial areas, industries and highways built.

NEIGHBOURHOOD:

Richmond Hill has a great neighborhood, Dollar Ontario, Gormley Ontario, Lang staff Ontario, Oak and temperance Ville Ontario. It is a former community and in eighteen century Dollar only had a one general shop, black smith shop and only one church. Richmond Hill is very well known for the celebrations and events. The whole town celebrates different events in a different ways. The town celebrates the Winter Carnival festival with a horse drawn Seigh ride and fabulous Viking village, approximately more than 40 years this event has been run by community volunteers and also lot of generous funded by local sponsors. On all weekend there are lot of activities have to be done in this regard, in Mill Pond Park there are lot of fun and entertainment are to be held in this park. This park is very famous for these events and festivals. The York Region District School Board operates 25 public elementary schools in Richmond Hill with 5 additional elementary schools in the planning stage. It also operates 5 secondary schools in the town, Alexandra Mackenzie High school, Long staff secondary school, Richmond green secondary school, York catholic elementary school in the town. There are four private primary schools located in Richmond Hill and four private secondary schools including Holy Trinity School, Global Science academy of Toronto.
